Why I Chose Network Marketing

Over the past year or so I have written many blog post and today I am going to deviate from what network marketing is and I am not going to discuss the many intricacies as it relates to this industry. Today is all about why I became involved in this wonderful industry.

First, I took a long hard look at my life and I realized that all of my years in the work force had not gotten me to the point where I felt I could truly live the type of lifestyle I wanted once I retired. Retirement is suppose to be the time when you sit back, relax, travel the world, and do just about anything you want to do when you want to do it. There is only one problem. I can not see how that would truly be possible with the way the economy is and the constant rise in inflation. What I am putting in my 401 could not keep up with those two prior things I just mentioned. Not only that, my increases were not covering the rising cost of insurance for me and my family. In essence I was going backwards every year. Fortunately for me someone introduced me to this industry and although I am not at the level I strive to be, there will be a day when I can say that retirement is directly in front of me and it did not take 20-40 years to achieve it either.

Secondly, it is my duty to make sure that others who feel the same way are introduced to network marketing so that they to can have the same options as I am building for me and my family. There is another avenue out there and if you are willing to put in the work, follow a set pattern of doing things, work with integrity and show this business to others you to can have that retirement directly in front of you and not be relegated to 20-40 years of dedication and hard work and still not feel that you are where you need to be when it comes to retiring.

Skype…A Great Relationship Builder

Hello everyone,

This will be my last post before the holidays.

I have been playing around with skype a little bit and you may be asking yourself how can “Skype” help my network marketing business. In case some of you do not know what skype is. It is software that you can download from the internet for free and it allows you to dial your friends for free and be able to have a live video call with the person as long as both parties have a webcam and speakers. It is a pretty neat piece of software.

This can help your business two fold. First of all, what about having your prospect view a presentation about your business opportunity and being able to instantly stop them at any point and talk face to face to them via skype. What an awesome presentation you could put forth and the prospect will more than like think this person has their act together. Second of all, you build instant credibility with your prospect when he/she sees you live via a video feed from pc to pc. The prospect now sees you as a real live being and not just some autoresponder or blogger or faceless person on the phone.

I suggest you add this to your methods of talking to prospects but as I stated this will only work in they too have a webcam or speakers. If you and some friends have a webcam just test it out and play around with it until you feel comfortable and add it as a powerful resources to building relationships and your business.

I wish each and everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Problems of Networkers Part III – Advertising

Let’s continue on our series of problems of networkers. This is part three of our discussion.

There seems to be a misconception that once you join your network marketing company all you have to do is sponsor a few people and you are on your way. That leads me to how are you going to advertise or market your business to find the right people. Yes, there is marketing involved and there are only two methods: free vs. paid. Only you can decide which method is right for you. It may be one or it may be both methods. I suggest you use both because there are good and bad in both.

Let’s deal with free first. There are many avenues for free advertising. I don’t pretend to know them all and besides they are to numerous to name, but I will suggest if you are beginning to advertise especially on the internet, you start with some type of free method. Test a few methods at a time and by all means track your results. Those that produce results keep using them and tweak a little to get better performance. Those that do not perform as well as you like; delete them from your arsenal.

You can basically follow the same steps for paid advertising. Find a place where you want to submit an ad and track its performance. Ads that perform you keep; those that do not you get rid of.

Problems of Networkers – Part 1

Let’s tackle who to let know about your business. You were probably told to make a list and let’s start contacting them. The main purpose is for creating business partners. How did that work for you? In some cases well, some not so well.

Let’s begin by first defining who we want to talk to and I am talking business builders here and not just product users. How do you determine your target market? You may be asking what a target market is. Your target market should be people seeking to change their lives and who want to be entrepreneurs. Many say they are looking for a home business but most are looking for jobs. Those forms where people fill out online are attracting job seekers and not entrepreneurs and some are not seeking either.

The job seeker is the last person you want to talk to about your business and it is easy to see why. They are looking for a job and income right now; not residual income in the future. You could run across a person that wants to be an entrepreneur in this group but it will be few and far between.

You are looking for someone that has either been in business already, someone who understands network marketing, or someone who is currently in network marketing but may not truly be active. They could be seeking another business as they are no longer interested in promoting what they are currently involved with.

I have given you a lot to think about here and I sincerely hope you take the time to contemplate what has been said. Part 2 of the LEADS piece will come to you in a few days so be on the lookout for Problems of Networkers – Product Users.

Success is within you!

The guy behind the blog
Click on the picture for an in-depth profile.

This is a powerful topic and I want to do it justice so I had to think a lot about it before putting my thoughts down. I hope and pray that you will find it useful and beneficial in your journey thru life as well as in this business because the network marketing industry is all about relationships and relationship building. Miss the boat on this one and you miss the boat on building a strong prosperous business.

Business is about developing and building relationships. If you take the time to study business in general the most successful are the ones who value the relationship with the person/people they are doing business with. There is no magic or top notch secret to being success in network marketing. It takes hard work and most of all it takes building relationships and I mean quality relationships. Miss this and you will struggle until in this industry until you take the time to get it right.

Until next time success is within you,
Rodney
