Let’s tackle who to let know about your business. You were probably told to make a list and let’s start contacting them. The main purpose is for creating business partners. How did that work for you? In some cases well, some not so well.
Let’s begin by first defining who we want to talk to and I am talking business builders here and not just product users. How do you determine your target market? You may be asking what a target market is. Your target market should be people seeking to change their lives and who want to be entrepreneurs. Many say they are looking for a home business but most are looking for jobs. Those forms where people fill out online are attracting job seekers and not entrepreneurs and some are not seeking either.
The job seeker is the last person you want to talk to about your business and it is easy to see why. They are looking for a job and income right now; not residual income in the future. You could run across a person that wants to be an entrepreneur in this group but it will be few and far between.
You are looking for someone that has either been in business already, someone who understands network marketing, or someone who is currently in network marketing but may not truly be active. They could be seeking another business as they are no longer interested in promoting what they are currently involved with.
I have given you a lot to think about here and I sincerely hope you take the time to contemplate what has been said. Part 2 of the LEADS piece will come to you in a few days so be on the lookout for Problems of Networkers – Product Users.
Success is within you!

In the coming days and weeks I am going to be discussing these at length. I actually belong to several business networking sites and will be gathering information from other entrepreneurs as well as networkers who have chimed in on the discussion as I posted this question to them. Stay tuned.

What types of people should you be looking for as a networking business partner or any business for that matter? This is where most networkers really blow it. This is going to be brief and to the point because each type of person should be self-explanatory.
1. Self starters, go getters, and have a passion for whatever they decide to do
2. Like making friends and building relationships
3. A desire to achieve total financial freedom
4. Coachable and dependable
5. Cares about and likes to help others
6. Wants to be part of a team of other serious Home-Business Entrepreneurs.
The person you are seeking does not have to have all of these qualities but the more the better.
Until next time success is within you,

This will be my last post for about a week and a half as I will be on vacation with my family for the next week. I will be back in the swing of things around mid-week the first week in June. I wish you much success in your endeavors while I am away.
Let’s continue on from my post earlier in the week. Educating yourself and relaying that info to others adds value to yourself as well as the person you are relaying the information to. The answer to any question you come across is out there if you are willing to do a little research. The more value you add to others the more valuable you become.
I have read along the way that many successful entrepreneurs have studied and attained information in their particular industry that would rival that of a Masters or Phd. What are you doing to educate yourself and add “True” Value to the people that you come in contact with? By increasing your value to others you are creating an atmosphere of sharing and giving which is what this industry needs more of.
I implore you to take time and study this industry and don’t be afraid to add value by sharing what you learn with others without expecting anything in return. You might be surprised what will happen in your life if you follow that principle.
You would be amazed at the sharing that can go on with other networkers if you are not always looking to sway them or they you into your particular opportunity. The sharing of knowledge and experiences will only help.
Success is within you,
Rodney
P.S. I will let you all know about the book I am reading in my next post.

This will be my last post until I come back from vacation a week from now so I decided I would give you something to ponder while I am away. Definiteness is one of the qualities of leadership that comes directly from Napoleon Hill’s book “Think and Grow Rich”.
I don’t pretend to know exactly what Napoleon Hill meant by this but I will give you my interpretation. I suggest you form your own opinion by reading the book.
Definiteness of decision to me is the ability to make a decision and see the decision thru. Whether in a traditional business or network marketing, you are going to have to make decisions that will not only affect your business today but in the future as well. When you make a choice, make sure that it is based on sound judgment and not a snap choice. Once you have made the decision stick with it and see the results thru.
Many of us make a decision but don’t see results quick enough so we go off on another tangent and try something else. Most successful entrepreneurs are quick to make a decision and slow to change.
Here is what I suggest; make a sound quality decision, stick to it, see the results thru and never ever second guess yourself.
Until my return as always success is within you,
Rodney
