Weekend With The Family

I spent a wonderful weekend with my family. Friday evening was date night with my lovely wife. When you are operating multiple entrepreneurial ventures, working a job, and raising a son sometimes as husband and wife you have to remind yourself how all of this got started. We had a lovely dinner and went to a jazz club and listened to a great band. Our son got to spend an evening with his auntie.

Sunday we ate dinner as a family although our son fell asleep on the way to the restaurant. Anyway you have to remind yourself that sometimes you have to get away from it all and get back to a little hubby and wife time.

Have a great evening and great week,
Rodney

I just wanted to let all of you know that I am still here but have been very busy in the last couple of months. I have been helping my wife with getting her business off the ground. She is a certified event/wedding coordinator and she recently sponsored a entrepreneurial showcase and tell all event here in Raleigh, NC. Much work was involved but it was a very successful event. I will be getting back into the swing of things in a couple of weeks so stay tuned.

Take Care,

What’s Been Happening Lately

Today is the first day of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament and I had an issue in my household because of the 3-2 rule. There are three people in my household and only two high-def TVs. The problem is there is only so much Disney channel mom and dad can or want to watch in a day so I decided to get my son his own hdtv. Mom has her safe haven and I now sport one of the newest versions of Sony HDTV. Everyone can now watch their individual shows and dad can watch the tournament. When we all decide to watch the same show we can meet in any of three places now and everyone is happy….just a quick update of what has been happening in the Hutcheson household for the last week or so.

To all my fellow basketball fans, enjoy the games. I know I will.

Why I Chose Network Marketing

Over the past year or so I have written many blog post and today I am going to deviate from what network marketing is and I am not going to discuss the many intricacies as it relates to this industry. Today is all about why I became involved in this wonderful industry.

First, I took a long hard look at my life and I realized that all of my years in the work force had not gotten me to the point where I felt I could truly live the type of lifestyle I wanted once I retired. Retirement is suppose to be the time when you sit back, relax, travel the world, and do just about anything you want to do when you want to do it. There is only one problem. I can not see how that would truly be possible with the way the economy is and the constant rise in inflation. What I am putting in my 401 could not keep up with those two prior things I just mentioned. Not only that, my increases were not covering the rising cost of insurance for me and my family. In essence I was going backwards every year. Fortunately for me someone introduced me to this industry and although I am not at the level I strive to be, there will be a day when I can say that retirement is directly in front of me and it did not take 20-40 years to achieve it either.

Secondly, it is my duty to make sure that others who feel the same way are introduced to network marketing so that they to can have the same options as I am building for me and my family. There is another avenue out there and if you are willing to put in the work, follow a set pattern of doing things, work with integrity and show this business to others you to can have that retirement directly in front of you and not be relegated to 20-40 years of dedication and hard work and still not feel that you are where you need to be when it comes to retiring.

Success is within you,
