I have been contemplating this subject for a while. The problem with this subject is that many of you have stopped dreaming or given up completely on your dreams. If your business is not progressing as you would like don’t give up, keep dreaming. Your goals can be reached but only thru hard work, dedication, patience, and continuous effort.
You may have hit a snag in your business that you don’t see a way around…keep dreaming. You want to give up but in the back of your mind you still have that dream.
The network marketing industry is full of people just like you and I that have a goal and a dream. The problem is we are to easy to give up on that dream. The networking industry is only for tough-minded individuals who truly seek to make a change in your life as well as your family’s life. When you can visualize that dream with your mind’s eye; then and only then will you reach your dream.
Think about what your perfect day would be like if you did not have to answer to anyone anymore. Would it be waking up at 10 am everyday? Would it be the ability to drop your child off at school and pick them up every afternoon? Would it be the ability to create generational wealth for your family? You see, every person who has a desire to be successful whether in network marketing or traditional or whatever the case may be; it starts with a dream. Whatever comes your way or whatever stumbling block you meet; don’t stop dreaming.
Success is within you,
Rodney

I was talking to someone that was interested in network marketing and the first question they asked me was what did I bring to the table. They did not ask me about my business, comp plan, company I was representing. Like many others out there people want to know what you bring to the table so far as knowledge or how you can help them achieve what they are looking to achieve. Prospects are looking for some type of value that you as their sponsor can share.
I implore you to get this right because all your prospect really cares about are you the type of person/leader that can be trusted and that will work with them to achieve their goals.
Success is within you,
Rodney

First of all, I would like to wish a Happy Thanksgiving to everyone who celebrates this holiday. I am sure everyone has a reason to be thankful.
I am going to start by prefacing that I should have talked about this sooner but better late than never. Network Marketing is a business about people helping people. There must be two willing participants in order for this relationship to work to the benefit of both parties. One person has to be willing to be helped and the sponsor has to be willing to help.
Let’s get to the expectations piece. For those that are already in the networking industry should already understand this and relay it to potential business partners. We should temper unreal expectations about how soon we can expect success. This is a business and to be successful you must work it as a business. Success only comes thru hard work and dedication.
Many people become involved because of high expectations and they have heard someone say I achieved this level in this amount of time. Well, what is being missed is what that person has done prior to having that kind of success. Like any other undertaking, it takes time and unfortunately some failure before you reach your ultimate goal.
Those of us that are in the network marketing make sure that you understand your future business partners expectations and then you can guide them on what to really expect as they are beginning to get acclimated to their new venture.
Success is within you,
Rodney

Let’s first define the term risk. Risk is a concept that denotes a potential negative impact to an asset or some characteristic of value that may arise from some present process or future event. Risk in its simplest form means the possibility on incurring some type of loss.
Now, let’s define reward. Reward is a satisfying return or result.
In the case of network marketing as in any business venture there is a risk/reward factor. You have often heard the phrase there can be no reward without a little bit of risk. The problem that many people have is they are truly unwilling to take a risk or a chance at reaching the reward on the other side. You could be afraid to pull the trigger and say to yourself that I am going to go for it because the reward is much greater than the risk that is involved.
In business, everyone wants to make money but how great would the reward be to be able to help others achieve their goals. You see, there has to be something else that drives you besides money. What about the ability to spend more time with your family? What about the ability to help create generational wealth for your family? What about the ability to help others achieve their goals and create leadership and bring out something in someone they could not see for themselves.
Network marketing has the ability to do all of this and much more but you have to be willing to take the risk in order to reap the rewards.
Success is within you,

I was on a call last night given by Networker Central and the guest speaker was Todd Falcone. I won’t introduce Todd to you because I don’t know him personally but I have been receiving his newsletter for some time now and also have been a frequent visiter of his site….ToddFalcone.com.
Here is a guy who seems to be just having so much fun with the game of prospecting. He loves it and if you want to be a professional network marketer you should learn to embrace it and get to the point of loving it as well. You see, prospecting is the blood line of your business. We all have great products and/or services but in order to bring new customers to the business as well as business partners we must prospect.
Most of us are shy when it comes to picking up the phone and talking to strangers but if you make enough calls and begin to have fun with the process of prospecting it will become easier and easier. We are not looking to sponsor everyone we talk to because most don’t have that entrepreneurial mindset. We are looking to sponsor the 2 or 3 that see the vision and want to make a change in their life.
My advice to you is to prospect daily, have fun, enjoy the journey, and begin to expect the success of your work.
Until next time success is within you,
Rodney
P.S. Here is a great prospecting tool.
