I was on a call last night given by Networker Central and the guest speaker was Todd Falcone. I won’t introduce Todd to you because I don’t know him personally but I have been receiving his newsletter for some time now and also have been a frequent visiter of his site….ToddFalcone.com.
Here is a guy who seems to be just having so much fun with the game of prospecting. He loves it and if you want to be a professional network marketer you should learn to embrace it and get to the point of loving it as well. You see, prospecting is the blood line of your business. We all have great products and/or services but in order to bring new customers to the business as well as business partners we must prospect.
Most of us are shy when it comes to picking up the phone and talking to strangers but if you make enough calls and begin to have fun with the process of prospecting it will become easier and easier. We are not looking to sponsor everyone we talk to because most don’t have that entrepreneurial mindset. We are looking to sponsor the 2 or 3 that see the vision and want to make a change in their life.
My advice to you is to prospect daily, have fun, enjoy the journey, and begin to expect the success of your work.
Until next time success is within you,
Rodney
P.S. Here is a great prospecting tool.

I want to say that we are back from vacation and a much needed one to say the least. The cruise we took to the Carribean was excellent. We are actually going to be planning a major group family cruise for next year. That ought to be fun.
Here is something that I think every networker should have in their arsenal. Many mlm’ers are out there prospecting and are constantly running into objections. How would you like to eliminate those common objections from the start. Well, here is your chane to learn to eliminate objections before they happen. Watch “Brilliant Compensation” and “What the Wealthy Buy on Payday and you will see exactly what I am talking about.
Enjoy,

This will be my last post until I come back from vacation a week from now so I decided I would give you something to ponder while I am away. Definiteness is one of the qualities of leadership that comes directly from Napoleon Hill’s book “Think and Grow Rich”.
I don’t pretend to know exactly what Napoleon Hill meant this but I will give you my interpretation. I suggest you form your own opinion by reading the book.
Definiteness of decision to mean is the ability to make a decision and see the decision thru. Whether in a traditional business or network marketing, you are going to have to make decisions that will not only affect your business today but in the future as well. When you make a choice make sure that it is based on sound judgment and not a snap choice. Once you have made the decision stick with it and see the results thru.
Many of us make a decision but don’t see results quick enough so we go off another tangent and try something else. Most successful entrepreneurs are quick to make a decision and slow to change.
Here is what I suggest; make a sound quality decision, stick to it, see the results thru and never ever second guess yourself.
Until my return as always success is within you,
Rodney

This is an audio that every networker must listen to. Get this right…I did not say that network marketers should listen. This is an absolute must if you want to be successful. The narrator speaks of novice networkers but every networker; novice, seasoned pro, or someone thinking of becoming involved with network marketing.
Here is the audio on network marketing mistakes.
Success is within you,

Why is it so hard to create credibility and help others see how great network marketing/mlm can be? The problems stems from us and I am including myself in this because the majority of us have done this. We have become so excited about our new business venture and you have every right to be excited. The problem is we try to go and explain the whole business to someone and we really don’t fully understand the complete picture ourselves.
When you are so excited you tend to come across as a salesman and 90% of people in the world do not like to be sold. Let me paint a quick picture for you. When you go buy a car or are in the process of buying a car, you have already done some research and have an idea as to what you want to buy, how much you want to spend, what your monthly payment is within an acceptable limit for you. Here comes that pushy salesman trying to get you to get something with all the bells and whistles. This is exactly how your prospects sees you. Don’t let this happen to you and stunt the growth of your business.
The question then becomes how do we create the credibility so others will not think we are selling them a bill of goods. You start using third party validation. What is third party validation you may be asking? It is simply some form of media that tells about your business venture for you. You see the marketing materials your company has and company approved marketing materials paints a picture and never makes a mistake.
Forms of third party validation that are extremely helpful include a website, a dvd, or cd which does all the presenting for you. You could also use a upline partner who has become very successful. Don’t go it alone. Let the tools you have at your exposure work for you. You will be glad you did.
Success is within you,
Rodney
P.S. Create credibility and sponsor like a pro.
